My name is Kimberly Christine and I want to let you in on some of my secrets as a Healing Artist, how it is I am here and what I can do for you 😉
*in 2022, I moved back to my hometown of Duluth, MN! Bringing all my talents back to share Up North! I left my spa in Cloquet to attract a more progressive and larger clientele base, June 2024, and started working at Duluth Chiropractic Clinic in West Duluth, but needed something more as rent isn’t cheap these days. So I hit the road!
As an only child to a single parent, I have always been rebellious and had quite the imagination. I loved dancing, singing, writing and changing my looks quite often. A Northern Lake girl from Duluth, Minnesota, I was always a Forest Faerie, animal lover, artist and healer.
After I graduated High School, I attended Beauty College and worked as a Cosmetologist for four-years. This is when Hair & Skincare were lumped together. But, I felt something was missing and grew bored with basic perms and haircuts. So, I enrolled in a 4-yr college to study Marine Biology and finally become a Mermaid! But my prior background as a hairstylist eventually took me into the Theatre for some workstudy. Doing hair, make-up, costumes and building sets as well as film classes launched one of my childhood passions into entertainment. I moved to California to deepen my education and finally received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre & Film. It was either L.A. or… Vegas-Baby!!!!
I was having a blast working in wardrobe and make-up for Cirque Du Soleil and Blue Man Group in Las Vegas for three years until I started to suffer from over-use injuries months after a promotion into a full-time stitching position. I started to research alternative healing modalities, like yoga and meditation. It was then I met my husband from India and my life changed, Big Time!
Absolutely in awe by the colors, costumes and dancing in Bollywood films, I created Fundoo Fitness in 2009 to help others in the similar stressful situations of work, family, social, and daily life. I became a personal coach with Beachbody and a Group X Instructor certified to teach Bombay Jam Bollywood Fitness. I studied with Hemalayaa Behl for a combined Yoga/Indian Dance Certificate. Traveling all over India (six separate visits) learning about Reiki, Ayurveda, Face Yoga, Classical Indian Dance, Cooking, and Martial Arts, was a true blessing and an eye-opening experience to a culture on the other side of the world. Fast Forward to 2017, I moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ to be with family, while I went back to school (I know… another year?!) as a Massage Therapist. I needed a new backup plan as my Theatre/Film degree was often useless in most of my travels. I also became certified as an Animal Massage Therapist. After school, I worked in a spa and taught at Charles of Italy School of Massage. Then I finally found my own space for massage. A year later… Enter COVID 🙁 The center I was renting from closed permanently, so I became Mobile for 2 years! Then, I decided to move back to my hometown in MN to get out of the heat and back to the seasons. So, here I am 🙂
